One Day Paediatric First Aid HSE Recognised Training Course in Cheshire At KISS Training we are approved to teach One Day Paediatric First Aid Training Courses under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and this course does conform to currently acceptable First Aid practice.

The One Day Paediatric First Aid Training Course can be run either at your business's location in a suitable environment or at a purpose built training facility whichever is more suitable and practical for you.

Course Length

The One Day Paediatric First Aid Training Course will run for approximately 7 hours (1 Day).

This One Day Paediatric First Aid Training Course is not just an attend course, students are required to take part in practical work, theoretical work and also home studies to successfully complete the course which will be assessed by the tutor throughout the course.

Course Description

This course is for those responsible for the care of young children, particularly child minders and Early Years workers. The course is also recognised for the purpose of registration as an Early Years professional. It can be used to provide evidence for those working towards an NVQ in Child Care and Education (Level 3).

Course Syllabus

Although the majority of First Aid procedures are similar to those used in adult First Aid there are substantial differences in the protocols for resuscitation, choking, casualty handling and incident management.
