Defibrillator (AED) First Aid Training Course

At KISS Training we are approved to teach Automated External Defibrillator (AED) First Aid Training Courses and this course does conform to currently acceptable First Aid practice.

The Automated External Defibrillator (AED) First Aid Training Course can be run either at your business’s location in a suitable environment or at a purpose built training facility whichever is more suitable and practical for you.

Course Length

The Automated External Defibrillator (AED) First Aid Training Course will run for approximately 4 hours (1/2 Day).

This Automated External Defibrillator (AED) First Aid Training Course is not just an attend course, students are required to take part in practical and theoretical work to successfully complete the course which will be assessed by the tutor throughout the course.

Course Description

Cardiac Arrest is the biggest killer in this country. Over 150,000 die as a result. The majority could have been saved if a defibrillator was made available. Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s) are now becoming more common throughout a range of workplaces.

A casualty”s survival rate will dramatically increase if an AED is available and if you have appropriately qualified personnel to use it. This very practical course will allow suitably qualified First Aid personnel to use the AED competantly and with confidence. Not only does this course deal with the use of an AED but also revisits some basic First Aid skills, including resuscitation.

All students will be issued a certificate on completion of passing the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) First Aid Training Course.
